Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

These terms apply to all orders placed at deskpaw.eu. The seller is Deskpaw, a sole proprietorship based in Zagreb, Croatia. Full business details are listed in our imprint.

2. Who can order

Our shop is for consumers and businesses with a delivery address in the European Union.

3. How the contract is made

The product pages are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. By completing checkout you make a binding offer to buy. The contract is formed when we accept your order, which happens when we send the order confirmation email. The contract language is English or German, depending on the language you shop in.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and are final prices. Any value added tax that applies is included and shown at checkout. Shipping within the EU is free. Payment is processed by Stripe; the available payment methods are shown at checkout. Your payment is taken when you complete your order.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the address you enter at checkout. Delivery times are listed on our shipping page. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will tell you straight away and refund any payment already made.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. We voluntarily extend the return period to 30 days. Details and the model withdrawal form are on our returns page.

7. Warranty

The statutory warranty for defects applies: you have rights if a product is faulty at delivery or shows a lack of conformity within two years of delivery. Tell us about any defect by email and we will repair, replace or refund, as the law provides.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory product liability law. Otherwise our liability for slight negligence is limited to the breach of essential contractual obligations and to the damage typically foreseeable when the contract was made.

9. Safe use

Please follow the included instructions, check that the clamp is tight before your cat uses the bed, and don't mount it on glass or unstable surfaces.

10. Disputes

If you have a complaint, please email us first; we aim to answer within one working day. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

11. Applicable law

Croatian law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live.
